2010 Mission Trip Opportunities:

Building a home in Reynosa, Mexico - June 13-19

Are you up for God working through you to build bridges of faith over the border to Mexico? How about traveling to build a home for a family in Reynosa, Mexico so they are comfortable, safe and secure on their side of the border? Or would you prefer working at a Clinic, teaching VBS or painting and fixing up?

We will be serving in name of Christ, 2010 across the border from McAllen, TX, just North of Brownsville in extreme southern Texas. Our group will be intergenerational and family oriented. Parents, youth and children are welcome. Yes, our accommodations will include clean beds, air conditioning and good food; but most of all wonderful fellowship together and with our Mexican friends from two Christian churches in Reynosa.

There will be more details as we get closer to this exciting mission trip including some fund raising ideas and opportunities to help make this possible. Our mission committee has funds already committed to purchasing all the supplies to build the house at the astounding price of $5,500.00! Hurricane Disaster Relief in Texas, June 20 - 26

If this Mexico trip is not your cup of tea, please consider doing Hurricane Disaster Relief with the Presbyterian Church South of Houston the week of Father's Day. Pastor Doug Ganyo is leading this trip as well and will be coordinating our efforts to bless others because we have been so blessed ourselves. All this and more awaits those who hear God's call to serve brothers and sisters in Christ across the border. We will be working with Faith Ministry and Presbyterian Border Ministry in McAllen, TX.
