Youth Mission Statement (followed by the Biblical witness for each)-
GROWING a generation of believers who are rooted in the Word of God (John 1:1)
CONNECTED to youth, their parents, and the church family. (Hebrews 10:25)
PASSIONATE about worshipping the living God. (Romans 12:1)
GOING out into the world to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:19-20)
FEARLESS about sharing the Way, the Truth, and the Life to those who do not know Jesus Christ. (Romans 1:16)
10 AM Sunday School classes for all ages - Our High School aged students meet in our Centre Street Youth Center named "The Anchor", while our Middle School students meet in the "World Map" meeting room. The younger grades meet in age appropriate groups throughout our campus.
Presbyterian Youth Fellowship - Our Program Goal is to encourage and provide nurturing opportunities for young people to learn how to develop and grow in a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit through:
* praying
* studying the Bible
* fellowshipping with each other, adult leaders, the church family and the community
* supporting mission opportunities (locally, nationally, internationally, globally)
* working with children, other youth organizations, adults, the elderly, the less fortunate
* living more Christ centered lives
* making Christian decisions in daily situations
* learning to appreciate diversity
Middle School Presbyterian Youth Fellowship - 2007 events included; Easter Labyrinth; Middle School Lock-In, Rally Day; Youth sponsored Family Night Dinner for Summer Trips; Pool Party; Youth Retreat at Camp Montgomery; Souper Bowl of Caring; Welcome Party for new Pastor; Pilgrims Progress, an interactive game based on the Paul Bunyan novel; Anchor Christmas Tree Decorating.
High School Presbyterian Youth Fellowship - 2007 events included; High Easter Labyrinth, Senior Recognition; Rally Day; Youth sponsored Family Night Dinner for Summer Trips; Pool Party; Welcome Party for new Pastor; Youth Retreat at Camp Montgomery; Pilgrims Progress, an interactive game based on the Paul Bunyan novel; Builders Care projects; Operation Christmas Child; Anchor Christmas Tree Decorating; Senior High teamed with Amelia Baptist to sing carols at Osprey Village and Quality Health.
